Hi,
I am looking to setup a mobile bike workshop over the next 18 months and getting hold of workshop quality tools to supplement the ones that I have currently. I have a fair amount of Park tools, but I have been doing quite a bit of research online and have come up with quite a few other tool manufacturers that seem to produce high quality tools as well.

These include:
Var Tools - http://www.vartools.com/‎ (in french....)
Unior Tools- http://www.uniortools.com/cgi-bin/cms.c ... =2499&sid=
Cyclus Tools - http://www.cyclus-tools.eu/werkzeuge.html?&L=3
Super B Tools - http://www.superbiketool.com/home.asp

Has anyone had any experience with any these companies, or are there any others that people could recommend?

Thanks,

  • We have a lot of Cyclus Tools for the workshop for headsets/BBs cutting/facing, they're excellent.

For some things IceToolz are worth a look as you can get perfectly good tools for much less than Park. I have their Gear hanger and pedal thread repair kits and they are perfect. Their crown race remover is a squillion quid cheaper than the Park one and fits in your pocket and the headset removers are priceless. The cassette & BB removal are good and the pro shop chain tool is brilliant
