I've been looking at Giant Anthems as they've got good reviews. Recently, what drew my attention is the following Anthem X3. Could I use opinion of some of you to gauge how much is it worth to spend on? Thanks for any suggestions!

Not an awful lot for that one. You can get a new one for £900 if you shop around.
