Mine sheared of while out riding today  velcro on saddle bag around the seat post stopped saddle falling off luckly so I think it might of saved me falling off the bike.

Lost top half of the old bolt it must of dropped off somewhere. Have bottom half of the bolt which stayed in place in the seatpost & picked up the clamp two halfs which fell on road. I & can see where the bolt sheared of just above the saddle rails clamp.

Its a ITM alloy seatpost 27.2mm

Do they sell theese things as spares?

Or get a new seatpost i suppose as bit wary of replacing with some random old bolt don't want a repeat performace.

    what style bolt?

if it's just a normal cap head, i'd just replace with an a2 stainless steel one, mounting torque will not be that high, but if the head is specially shaped try contacting itm.it (or uk distributor) to see if you can get a spare

    a2 stainless steel...

Its M7 diameter screw about 40mm length with an allen key or pan head. & needs a bolt as I lost that bit (orginal has a sqaure lozenge shaped bolt that that was above the seat clamp which is missing. )

Think I will just buy a new seatpost

My frame is 27.00mm not 27.2mm should of measured it properly with digital caliper.

Found a 27.00mm one on tesco
