Have you looked? All the usual places. Tubes are tubes really. Some are lightweight, some are DH, most are just tubes if you get the value to fit your rim.0

They're just inner tubes. Any bike shop will probably sell you three for a tenner that will do the job.0

Got a load of On One tubes a while back they were going for £1.99 each, the offer is still on they are black round and rubbery and hold in air.

As I repair tubes I rarely buy them, but do have a pile of tubes in the shed that are unwanted!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

There's a lot of facetious answers here. Like others I just tend to buy what is on offer.
However, when there are threads about weight saving etc, normally plenty of people chip in about lighter weight tyres and tubes. I wouldn't have thought a couple of specific suggestions along these lines as an option would have taken any more time to type than the humorous answers and may have been a bit more useful to the OP as an option?0 -
Can't really see the facetious answers here. Considering you too have taken time to post and have some ideas, couldn't you have suggested something helpful rather than a moan?0

Pretty sure there's already a Monday Moaners thread....
I just buy whatever is cheapest in my LBS, or whatever is on offer online if I'm buying something else. The only thing I’d say is avoid DH tubes unless you want to double the rolling weight of your wheels.. or ride a lot of DH obviouslyCurrent:

Personally I like Schwalbe tubes, and I run one size undersize to save some weight, about £4 a tube but as they last much longer than a tyre it's not really a significant expense.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

If the tube's for your pack then get cheap presta (non car type), even if you use schrader, as they will fit anyone's rims (useful if anyone's stupid enough to go out without spares)Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0

Oh, my spares were from Tesco, £3 for 3, I've had less punctures than I had with the nice Schwalbe ones that came with the bike, although the valve is noticeably more difficult to fit a pump to...Cube Analog 2012 with various upgrades.0

It's not really about moaning, it's about giving advice if the knowledge is out there. I don't know much about tubes and as I said get whatever is on offer. Maybe more flippant than facetious on reflection.

is somewhat more useful than saying "any" don't you think?0 -
Liking the slime tubes at moment, no punctures so far (Touches wood) Just careful when adjusting pressure as they like to spit green snotty goo at you.0
