London to Paris 2014 - advice please

Any recommendations for this ride? It's been suggested by a friend and logistically it's a bit tricky to get from Wales to London then all the way back from Paris... not impossible but is it worth the hassle for a three day ride through one of the most built up areas of Europe (no idea what it's like the Frenchy side mind you)?
Is it a rewarding ride for a roadie who'll probably be the accompanying less enthusiastic cyclists?
Any idea how to get back from Paris? I'm a bit time pressed so cycling isn't really an option. I've looked up Bike-Express and they go from Charles de Gaulle to a motorway service station of your choice in the vicinity of the M1.
Thanks

Hi Craker
If you are referring to the Action Challenge London to Paris 24hr bike ride 'http://www.ride24hr.com/index.php' we actually transfer you back to the UK from Paris via Euro Star all inclusive in your ride fee. From London St Pancras - Transfers to Wales would be fairly straight forward. Of course this depends on your location in Wales.0 -
Done it last year and well worth it. Not too far. A bit of a challenge in the UK but pretty good in France.
The easiest route is London to Newhaven then Dieppe to Paris.
Would be much better to have a small group and support from a driver in a mini bus. Solves all the luggage problems and getting to London and home after. .. can be done with minimal training. .0 -
Wales to London is easy as.Where you coming from?
