Just about to buy a specialized s works venge frameset and build it up. Re: bottom bracket, is it going to be English or Italian thread?

    There doesn't seem to be that option with 6800, do I need an adapter then?

    Yes if you want to use a standard external threaded BB.

    What pitch is getting at is the frame may well be a press fit BB type - in which case it is neither English or Italian.

    If you are buying a BB to go in the frame you need to check with Specialized what is needed.
