I have not bought inner tubes in many years... I hate to discard so much material in a landfill for a pin hole and fitting a patch is a 3 minutes job
I would also use those tubes discarded at the side of the road to hang the rider who laft it there, but that's another story...

I'm a Yorkshireman and you sound tighter than me. Even I can see that not every puncture is repairable. Pin-holes yes anything bigger and its not worth it imo particularly on tyres <25mm
I think wiggle do lifeline tubes that are ok also buy 10 packs on ebay of Contis for about £300 -

It's not about the money... it's about wasting a perfectly fine tube because you can't be bothered to spend 3 minutes repairing... it's the disposable society I condemn.
