Ortileb Classic Panniers - Max weight limit?

Can anyone advise, please?
I've just spent quite a bit of time trying Googling the above. Can't find, so far, any safe guidance on max weight limits for these full-size Ortileb Classic bags. Have just ridden home from Morrisons supermarket with several bottles of wine and fruit juice, plus various other bits/pieces inside one of these panniers. Total weight 2 stone or 12kg, according to bathroom scales.
Does anyone know how near the limit i am for the bag to split and for me to lose rather a lot of good red wine over London's A10?
THANKS!
Adrian

I'd suggest sending Ortlieb an email?

Mate if you can lift it easily enough, and ride with it, it's probably not going to split. Ortliebs are well made, and I'd have no problem with carrying 12kg in one.
Stick it in, go for a ride.Sometimes parts break. Sometimes you crash. Sometimes it’s your fault.0 -
Okay, thanks. I'll see if Ortileb are contactable here. Thanks for your replies.
