Saddle underside repair

I have got some damage to the underside of my saddle. I guess it's true that a picture paints a thousand words so I have attached a photo of the problem.

I can't just wedge the white leather fabric material back where it should be. Any suggestions as to what would be the way to repair it would be most appreciated!

Hard to tell from the photo but couldn't you use a dull thin blade and some glue to insert it under the shell or is the shell damaged? As a last resort I'm sure someone who specialises in motorbike or car upholstery could fix it or possibly even a cobbler.

Dab of superglue and push it into place with a flat screwdriver blade
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
