Evenin'
I've just bought a second-hand pair of SID Races. Sold as 2010 version.
Chassis appears to be 80/100. Stantions are marked for sag for 80 & 100 mm
Anyhow opened them up - for a quick service and this is the air spring assembly:
Checking the SRAM manuals this does not look like the 2010 version, but does look like the 2009 version - but that's stated as 60mm / 80mm.
There does also seem to be quite a bit of 'movement' to the fork if I squeeze together (or pull apart) the lowers. Yes I know they'll flex - but this feels more like 'looseness' of the uppers in the lowers. Worn bushes?
Any ideas. Have I bought some sort of Frankenfork?

Any idea what bike they came from?
OEM stuff on bikes do have some odd configurations sometimes.0 -
No - I don't know what bike they were off.
Just checking the SRAM webby again and it also look like the 2011 air-spring? So 2009 & 2011 spring look similar to what I have. 2010 spring looks quite different.
They seem to be working well enough - I'm just confused.0
