I currently have a shimano deore gearing, can I change the deore shifters for Ispec xt shifters?

Do you have to "Dremmel" the shifter or the brake? I'd like to get some new brakes but they all seem to be iSpec B now. Not so keen on messing with the brake but as I fitted the iSpec kit to the shifters anyway less of a risk there.0 -

You have to dremmel the shifter as far as I recall. It wasn't me who did the work, I just know someone who did it0 -
