Tektro cr720 replacement pads

Hi. New to cantilever brakes but have come to the immediate conclusion that the stock pads on these tektro brakes are lousy.

They are 55mm cartridge but just wondering if I can put on a set of 72mm instead, some kool stops? I can't see why this wouldn't work providing I get the new cartridge as well. Any thoughts appreciated.

Any standard vee-brake shoe will work

I put some Ashima 4function vbrake shoe/pads on my tektro canti's. Much better than stock, and you can adjust the toe in too.
