Hi guys, Im looking in the market for buying a rear shock and some wheels,
I have this frame and am wanting to build it up, http://www.evanscycles.com/products/gho ... 8#features
My budget for a rear shock is anything between £150 and £275, and wheels ideally between £200 and £400 a set.
I also have this fork, http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/rock ... tAodxT8Aow
to help with the axle sorting out on the front wheel, any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Some nice Hope Pro 2 hoops, various rims Mavic EX721, Arch Stans etc. With Hope, you can easily change the axle sizing.
DT Swiss for a rear suspension unit.0 -
For the wheels I'd suggest, and my first choice would be, Hope Pro II Evo's laced to Stans rims... but would also take a look at DT Swiss wheelsets (rczbikeshop have some cheap) and also Easton Havens or EA90's.
Shock wise... Fox Float RP23 would be my suggestion0 -
I would go with Mavic EX721 rims on Hope hubs and either a Fox RP23 shock or a Rockshox Monarch RC3Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Depends on front fork set up . Could be 9mm quick release or 15mm maxle I think. Double check your front and rear axles before buying . Not sure now but although the crank bros wheels look fancy the older ones had pretty bad reputation on rear hubs . Hope pro or dt swiss or even superstar wheels are well rated and reviewed.0

How much do you weigh, how hard do you ride, and where will you be riding?0
