LEJOG relay

I've done a search and found some posts (and on the CTC forum) but thought I'd ask here too:
Does anyone have any top tips for how to best organise a relay LEJOG? We've got 3 riders confirmed but hopefully have 6 on the day. I'm comfortable with most admin tasks as I can read around how what others take with them but haven't found much on reports of the most efficient way to share the miles. Initial research of RAAM relay teams suggests one hour long stints for each rider during the day (if we have 3) and longer through the night to allow better sleep, but I've also seen suggestions of pairs of rider doing 15 minute "pulls" with each pair doing 90-120 minutes each. More riders would clearly be better and we've been discussing hwo we'd prefer pairs at night for safety.
Thoughts welcomed!
