I collected my boardman pro 29er on Thursday and it's had
A couple of outings over the weekend and I must say I'm delighted
With it.

I have been looking at these they look good value for money on the spec, and 10% off with bc membership.

I had a gander at one recently, was surprised how light it felt.

I haven't got anywhere to host the picture to add it to the thread.

I've been looking for a while for a new ride. A couple of
Months ago it came clear that my employer was going to be
Doing the cycle to work scheme. When they started it 2 weeks ago
It became apparent the list of shops that they where allowing
Us to use was limited. The pro 29er from halfords is the best
Bike I could get for my £1000 allowed through the scheme (They would
Not let us add cash). So imoa it's a cracking bike for the £680 I
Will actually end up paying for it.

Wish where I worked we did cycle 2 work scheme but our company won't no matter how many times we ask!

Doesn't look to be much crud clearance between rear tyre and front mech? Looks like it's almost touching.

Obviously, but unless the photo angle's deceptive it looks like too much of a compromise for a bike built for the UK, with our crappy weather.
