Ae Forest

I was planning on riding the Ae Line this weekend, but I've just checked the website and it says all trails are shut due to trees downed by high winds. I only live just over the border and haven't noticed any especially windy weather.
Does anyone know more?

    FC had been doing some felling/thinning along the green/blue routes during the week. Very stormy on Wednesday night which brought down more trees in that area affecting the red. Spoke to an FC ranger whilst in another part of the forest before getting to the routes (cycling out from home via Dalswinton wind farm)and they were going to inspect other parts of the trail network.

    Trails nice and dry this week with some ice to catch you out!
