I have a few of those 10p Ronhill hats (luminous orange) from Wiggle a while ago. One of those keeps my head and ears warm plus I have an aldi special buff which I'm going to use for the first time on my way home tonight... just switching to long fingered gloves too so looking forward to my fingers being warm :)

Been using the skullcap and buff for a while. Buff is less necessary and I always feel like it's OTT after five minutes or so of relatively hard cycling. Skullcap has been needed since the end of October due to having no hair.

Buff is enough for me, yet to ride anywhere where I've wanted more- especially once you've got going.
That said I am often astonished at how much I see people wearing, most of it would have me melting!

Yes, burning money can keep you quite warm.

Rick lives in London so it's OK for him to wear Rapha!

I use a buff below about -2 for my cheeks and ears, although it did once freeze over across my mouth which was quite interesting.

I've got my cotton cap under my crash helmet and that is it. Buffs etc are OTT IMO
