How many miles out of Ultremo R1 rear?

I usually replace tyres when they puncture if they have had a decent amount of use as I see it as a sign they are wearing out. My rear Ultremo R1 has done 1500 miles- has a few minor cuts and has squared off a bit but has not had a p******e yet.
Should I expect one soon?

Only if you can't be bothered to maintain the tyre so it doesn't puncture! ;)
    Faster than a tent.......
  • I only got about 900miles out of my rear, it had worn flat in the centre and was getting punctures too often.

Guess 1500 mls is not bad going then out of what is a fairly soft compound tyre. Replacing tomorrow with a Continental Grand Prix folding. Rarely get a p******e tho' - maybe 2 per year over 6k miles. Thanks to latex tubes maybe?...
  • I have just over 2,500 miles on my R1's had a couple of flats over that time but so far big increase.
