Due to the fact that all my riding is done on the coast and all pancake flat. I recently changed out my original compact chain rings for semi-compact (52-36) I am on Sram Force and my cassette is 12-26.
What would be my ideal cassette to take advantage of the flat terrain ?

well you're not going downhill so dont need an 11, and not uphill so dont need a big sprocket. I'd probably get a Shimano 12-23 myself.0

Personally, I wouldn't bother changing before it's worn out.
The only difference between what you have and a closer ratio cassette is the climbing gears will be a bit more spread out, which if it's flat, isn't much of a problem, the first 6/7 sprockets are nigh on identical on 12-23 and 12-26.
So to take advantage of the flat, you already have the gears you need. What you'll affect by changing is your climbing gears.0
