Inner tube advice needed (basic)

My old inner tube and pump worked fine, both met their end, so i was left with backup pump and a new innertube.

and the innertube is a contitube with a 60mm presta valve (it actually says Sclaverand presta on the packet)
I've tried to pump it up but nothing has happened. i've switched the valve on the pump around.

So can someone just link me up to a suitable decent innertube for this pump. My tyres are 700 x 35

    All Presta are the same, assuming you undid the locknut it should inflate fine, if not it's a pump issue.

    When you say nothing has happened you mean NOTHING or......
    1/ pump handle doesn't go in and out
    2/ Pump handle moves but you can't force air into the tube
    3/ You pump and air hisses out
    4/ You pump and ir goes into the tube but it doesn't inflate
    5/ Something else I havn't yet thought of which could be described as nothing but is clearly something
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    thanks for post, not sure exactly what happened but got to a bike shop and all fixed now
