Cannondale Supersix Evo Red vs Synapse Hi Mod Ultegra

Right then, if you were looking at throwing some money at a new bike and had to choose between these two which would you go for? My lbs stocks them and as I ride in the shop affiliated club I can get a discount. I've currently got the supersix 105 but looking for something lighter and comfier. From what I read the new Evo Red is still racey but more comfortable than previous versions, the Synapse is more comfortable but is it as fast?

I'll be using it for some big ol rides next year like Majorca 312, tour of Wessex etc.

    Great review of synapse hi-mod in Cyclist magazine this month. Best do it all bike the reviewer has ridden.

    I'd say if you're doing big rides and not actually racing then the Synapse would be the bike to go for.

    I have a Supersix Hi Mod which I regularly do 100+ miles on with no problems. Longest ride to date was over 160 miles. Great bike fast and fairly comfy.

    No idea what a Synapse is like though, but for me the S6 is the better bike.
