After a near miss this weekend I'm looking to increase my visibility during the day. There are plenty of reviews on lights used at night but very little on day time use.

Really pleased with my Exposure Joystick. Very adaptable in use (bar light, helmet light, long burn times - days on flash mode) and can be recharged from wall socket or USB port. Sport pursuit were doing the version 7 model for 99 quid with helmet and bar mounts. I use mine on 'flash strobe' setting during the day and it's very visible.

How much is your budget? Look at Moon comet set if your on a budget, Exposure flash/flare,
Are you planning any cycling in the dark?

i recently experimented with the incredibly strong but cheap Cree lights sold on amazon/ebay.
£30 for something as bright as car lights, but the battery wouldnt last 5 minutes on medium setting.
now replaced with a moon xp600 and its brilliant. as bright as i need it to be for commuting on unlit country roads, and decent battery life too. more importantly, i trust it, which is soemthing you need in a light at this time of year.

two rear flashing lights also.....just in case.
