So currently at home bored as I have cracked ribs.
Had loads of parts worth nothing and just taking up space so thought might as well chuck it all together and ride this through winter and commute to work it's only 6.5miles away.

Scott Aspect frame, various shimano bits, cheap ebay forks and Schwalbe City Jets, rides quite well if a little bit twitchy, as time goes by i'll update it too get some weight off currently it's 12kg.

    How cheap?

They look neat! If not abit... tall!

£38 they are actually 50mm shorter than the original suspension forks which is why the stack is a little bit high but I might lower it once I have got used to how it rides. They were also nice and light at 740g

Just looking a set of carbon bars to aid comfort and then I'll possibly go 1x10 gearing but not sure what chainring size yet and then lighter wheels.

Already have a spare set of Avid Elixir 3 brakes to go on once I change the current brake/shifter combo
  • Looks good, wish my winter (parts collection) mountain bike had come out as well as that.
