Downtube Protector

I'm looking for a Downtube Protector for my Mega as I've already had a few pedal strikes and been very close to a few chainring strikes due to how low the BB gets under heavy compression. As I bought the frame secondhand, there looks to have been a couple of strikes/stone flicks already right at the bottom of the DT where it joins the BB.
I've seen these lizard skin ones but I was more after something made out of plastic or a similar material. Something like this Trek one but sold in the UK preferably. The Mega has the same two 'bottle cage bolts' in the same place as the Trek in that picture.
I could DIY something out of an old mudguard but would prefer something that is purposely designed for it!
Does anyone know where I could get such a device/used one that they would recommend?
As always, any help is much appreciated.

haha yea this was a thought, but if I can't find anything I'll go with the Lizard Skin strip as it will look neater .mike hunts alpine wrote:EBay possibly???
And yea that's where I found that Trek one, along with a bunch of Carbon Fibre Rock guards but they are all £30+.0
