Clunky drivetrain

Hi all,
I recently got an Anthem 08 frame and have been building it up with parts from my old hardtail. Everything seemed to go on fine, shifting is smooth and consistent but when I first apply pedal force there seem to be a slight delay between pedaling and the drive train engaging with the cassette resulting a clunk. I know there is a slight delay normally as the hub engages but since putting this bike together the clunk seems remarkably worse nearly 1/8th of a crank rotation. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Cheers

freewheel pawls may be stuck.
take it apart with a 2x 5mm and 10 mm
check and clean it up or replace with factory correct one.

Thanks Chris,
How likely am I to mess up my hub if I don't necessarily know what I'm doing? I'm pretty competent with most stuff but Iv'e never messed with a rear wheel hub. I have to check but the entire wheel may be under warranty still so if it's an easy fix that will save me the hassle of finding reciepts and RMAing the wheel that would be awesome.

Thanks guys took off the cassette cleaned and sprayed some wd40 in the hub and blasted with compressed air and now it seems to have got unstuck. If it goes again the park tools blog will be a great help, very good pics.
