Fox 5.0 rear shock help

Hello I have a Fox Shock on the back of my bighit but seems to make a funny noise almost like air or oil getting pushed into a small space fast! But it's working fine just noisy any idears what I can do to fix it?

maybe needs a service

if you adjust the rebound/compression settings does the sound get louder/quieter?

damping can make noises depending on how they are set and what they are acting against
