Shimano CX50 Chainset.

Hi all

Is there any difference (apart from ring size) between the CX50 Chainset and a standard 105 compact? Been looking at them and can't see anything noticeable.

    both the same except for the chainring size 36t 46t for the cx 50 and 34t 50t for the 105 . the BCD is the same.

    I bought a CX50 for a mate recently for his commuter and was a little surprised that it was heavier than expected, and heavier than a 105, so I'd say they are different designs. I'm not even sure the CX50 is a hollow design you know. It was a fair lump.
