morning

another morning feeling slightly below par. Did 5hrs of chain sawing & chopping yesterday, so knackered. But as we finished we re-hydrated with way too much cider - but it was worth it just to see everyone's was when they saw the axe & chain saw by the table  The wife's face when I rolled in wasn't as funny

Today is a run, some work and then off to walk up the Wrekin as a family and then it would be rude note to visit the pub. Then watch the GP later

    Morning bumders

On with revision for now, possibly bikes at some point too. The house needs cleaning before our quarterly inspection too but CBA, not unless the others are actually going to make an effort to do something for once.

Hockey later, hopefully it'll go better than yesterday's thrashing, I've been absolved of blame for that though which is nice, and got a lot of compliments for the keeping so I'm happy. Don't think many other keepers would have been able to do much more so meh. Onwards to winning today!!!

    Morning Mongs,

Got all my jobs done yesterday so today is lazing day :) which is just as well as that's how I'm feeling. Almost had a lie in and got the house to myself for a bit. Reaches for massive coffee mug...

    Morning interwebsists.

I was having a good weekend until I starting messing with bikes yesterday  Having had numerous issues with my Stanton, in trying to get it to clamp my reverb tightly enough to stop it spinning it has decided it doesn't like it and has broken it, or so it would seem anyway from people I've asked on various forums :( So now I'm stuck with a useless frame and a broken seatpost... and I still haven't actually ridden it yet.

Parents came to uni to drop the frame off yesterday, don't have much room so they've taken the Ibis back with them, which means it's now highly likely I'll be bikeless for the next 3 weeks, again. It's really pissed me off, a) because I shouldn't be having these issues on a £385 frame, b) because Stanton's customer service is beyond diabolical and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and c) after the CCC2CC I felt really good and fitter than I have for a long time, so I was mega keen to push on from there and get fitter and ride even more... Since then I have ridden a bike 5 times and already had 3 weeks on the sidelines due to the various cock ups trying to get the frame warranted.

I'm gonna go drown my sorrows and play Xbox all day, should be doing uni work but I really can't be bothered.

Maybe you should adopt this little fella as your Uni mascot? (Fukushima Industries got a few emails after they put this on the front page of their website without checking the tranlation :) )

8-1 win for the uni team. Over the moon, especially given the goal we conceeded was an own goal that 3 of our defenders managed to orchestrate somehow, means I did my job well enough.

Also been approached by another, bigger club with more teams, dedicated keeper training etc. and I'm rather tempted to see what they're all about. Might eventually mean leaving the town club to go play for them but it's something I'd consider if it lets me take my goalkeeping further.

Good day out. Headbutted a tree, and in doing so i think I've broken my big toe somehow. That is all
