    If ridden as part of the Helvellyn ride then yes.
    Not sure it'd be worth just riding Sticks Pass on its own.

    Yep it is outstanding! do it, would leave it for a nice day though, combine it with the summit, nice descent off Lowerman, then a few ups and downs to Raise, nice little rocky descent to the top of Sticks, it really flows with bags of technical interest, all the way back to the YHA, one of the best descents in the Lakes, hope this helps.
