Trek 1.2 as a winter bike

Hello all i was wondering if any of you had any experience of the trek 1.2 as a winter bike with regards to tyre and mudgaurd clearance

    Yes I had a 2011 one, great bike will take proper mudguards.

    I have a 2013 Trek 1.5 which seems to have less clearance than previous versions of the bike. I have 23mm tyres and mudguards fit fine.

    It is THE winter bike has extra long reach brakes mudguard eyelets and everything! I had to let my one go in September saddest moment of my life :(
