I purchased one of these jerseys from Amazon (Size XL) to try and tackle the transition to our winter weather, starting to feel the cold more as I get a little older.... anyway, it's turned up and bloody hell, the arms are very baggy on this jersey.

Has anyone else experienced baggy arms on this or other Gore Jerseys (just wondering if it's normal)?

You need bodybuilder arms for this thing to be tight on the arms.

Just ordered a Torm T5 and wondering if I would be better off returning the Gore.

Cheers

If it doesn't fit properly, send it back. You'll never be 100% happy with it and will end up getting something else in a few months.
  • Indeed....

Wondering if this is something that would be a similar problem across the gore range or perhaps just this model of jersey, if it's across the gore range I think I would avoid the brand for jerseys.

I don't get out much to try these things on in a bricks & mortar store.

  • What height / build are you ? I am 5ft 11 / 75kg , own a Gore Contest thermo long sleeve and Medium fits me great without any excess baggy-ness.
  • I've just processed a return with Amazon, pretty easy these days with this Collect Plus Service.

That would seem to make sense mattgeezer....

Jose, I'm an odd build at approx 86Kg, 5 Foot 9, 44" Chest and 34" Waist.

Campag XL LS Jerseys are a great fit, the Gore could have taken two of my forearms.

Woops just looked at mine again and it is regarded as "slim" fit, however the Xenon range is classed as "tight" fit, and in cycling you want tight!

Try an Xenon one maybe? although pricier!
If you have a local Evans they have all the Gore kit in.

  • Massive Gore head here . I just bough the Oxygen Thermo long sleeve Jersey a few weeks back (medium) and found the same to be true. Arms a bit too long and a bit baggy. I stupidly took the labels off , otherwise I would have returned for a small.
Great Jersey, very warm with just a base layer.
It seems bar the Gore Xenon range it may be worth sizing down if you want a race/tight fit.
