Newbie - with a carbon Anthem Advanced

After buying a 2008 Anthem Advanced from ebay (yeah - risky!!), I've followed the Bikeradar guide to checking the frame with a torch and very bright light.

I cannot find any of the usual issues, but some of the 'skin' seems to have 'peeled' especially under the BB. There's also some marks near to where the metal chainstay fits, together with one or two other blemishs.

There is a lot of chipping, may just be cosmetic. Clean up and cover in helitape.

It looks cosmetic... Get some very fine sandpaper and sand down the affected areas so they are smooth to the touch, ie so you can't feel the ridge where the lacquer has chipped off... Clean with methylated spirit, leave to dry and spray a clear lacquer on. You can do the entire frame using this method. Either way don't sand down to far, you don't want to break the cf fibres
