Does any one know what My GT Zaskar is? It says that it is titanium and aluminum.

This is a late 90s aluminium zaskar, no titanium in the frame. 97/98.0

That's not titanium. The welds definitely look like aluminium.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Why does the sticker say that? Thanks0

Because someone has put a sticker on. What is the frame number?0

Thanks, Where is the frame number located? I will post it.0

Not an original sticker?
A ti frame would have much smaller welds. Ti is a different shade of silver to aluminium and that looks like aluminium.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
On the dropout.0

That is definitely Aluminium. I have a 96 (i think) Arrowhead and the welds look completely identical.
I thought the frame numbers were on the BB Shell. Is there any way to "ID" a frame? As in to find out what year it is? If i remember correctly, all my GT says on the dropout is "7005" which is the aluminium grade.0 -
110% its aluminium alloy. Titanium has a grey-greenish tinge - I have 3 titanium bikesMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
