Flat Pedals

I've pretty much always used SPDs (coming from a road background!)
But I want some flats for the Duster - mainly as I'll be riding it more 'socially' and with the kids so want to wear normal(ish) shoes.
Looking at Shimano Saint and the Superstar Nano - both around ~£40.
I assume I'll be happy with either - but any views or alternative suggestions (at around the same price?). Not bothered about weight - just want something relaible and hassle-free that won't look scruffy in 5 minutes.

Another choice is the Welgo MG1. That and the Superstar Nano seem to be the forum favourites at the moment.0

Yes for MG1 or Nukeproof electrons - £30 ish, light and good grip.0

MG1s or Nanos - Exotic also do Nanos - their flats are £3 cheaper but their thru-pins are £2 more at the moment and don't come in the same range of colours.
If you want the lightest go for the MG1s... otherwise for my money the Nano thru-pins are a better platform and look that bit nicer (and at £37 they are very good value). I have MG1s on my Anthem and Nanos on my Avalanche... very happy with both.Vitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)

Nanos and Saints are equally good to ride. Saints have better bearings. I'm happy with both but would definitely buy saints again next time.
I tried wellgo mg1's but didn't like the platform.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
