Baggies and jacke recommendations for lanky rider

I’m looking for some new baggy shorts and a shower proof jacket for general trail riding. Problem I’ve got is that I’m a lanky 6’ 3”. Most shorts seem to be mid-thigh rather than knee length. And most jackets act like a sail if I go for the XL size I need to get the arm length. Has anyone got any recommendations please?

I'm 6ft4" and wear the Endura Humvee shorts. Never had a problem.

Jackets are more of a problem. Like you say, go for the XL or XXL for the arm length and it hangs off you. The only one I have found that is a good fit on arms and body is this one in XL.

Not advertised as an out and out waterproof, but it does the job and has kept me dry on a number of very wet rides. Didn't find it very breathable, but then I am a sweaty bugger and I can't afford to be fussy
