Removing jammed air cylinder

Hi guys so i can remove my air cylinder form the shock even after using a strap wrench still not budging, any suggestions?

I had a similar problem with a fox rear shock. If you press in the valve and compress the suspension. Release valve and let shock extend. Keep repeating until you hear no air being released when compressing. Then try a strap wrench. Hoped that make some sense.
