Frame mounted child seats

Anyone use one?
I've just bought one that mounts to the seat tube. On closer inspection I'm worried that my child's 15kg bouncing through the frame might do some damage - or is it me just worrying to much?
Cheers

I've got one and wont fit it on my decent bike. I'm trying to build up an old frame to use for the child seat and trailer.0

I use a weeride on the bike that has it's own cross bar attachment. It mounts by bolting at the head stock and seat post point, then the seat bolts onto this, so the child is between your legs. Been using it for the last 18 months daily and you can use it until the child is 4. Not sure what the weight limit is but must be reasonable if it takes a 4 year old.
Been a brilliant piece of kit as you can then talk to your child whilst riding, I recommend it.0 -
+1 for the wee ride0

Hmmm, , my boy is nearly 5 but quite lightweight for his age. Maybe best off with a trailer then0
