the standard ss axles are ment to be pretty bulletproof anyway tbh so I won't be paying for the extra for upgraded axle. But ice never tried them so upto you really.

My Nano axles are made of liqorice, not sure the lighter upgrades would be any stronger, but with how mine have stood up to abuse I'd keep them cheap and treat them as disposable(ish)

No, 'cos these days a small family hatchback weighs as much as a medium sized planet. I looked at Saints while browsing pedals on CRC the other day though, and the quoted weight certainly wasn't what you'd call light, lol.

They werent noticeably heavy when I fitted them. I certainly don't notice any extra weight on the bike when im using them rather than my XTR SPD's. They are probably a little heavier than some but its never been noticeable.

I love Saint stuff normally but the pedals are a bit weird looking.
