I recently received a vintage bike in the post. It was packed with scrunched up sheets from THE DAILY MAIL.

Do I have a right to compensation?

  • In true Daily Mail style, SEND IT BACK!!!

(in all seriousness, was it damaged? If not then what do you want compensation for?)

I think I may now be mildy racist. Surely this is worthy of being compensated?

    Fortunately, the bike arrived fine.

Did the seller accurately describe themselves as a seething xenophobe? If not I think you may have a valid claim.

So the bike arrived fine but you want compensating?? Was the newspaper out of date significantly or something?

It probably means the bike has never been on the road let alone paid any road tax :D

Be careful when you ride it, you may find it leans heavily to the right...
  • You can pretty my guarantee it won't be made in Eastern Europe then.
  • Make a Personal injury claim - you are now racist by proxy and your house price has dropped by 5%
  • No, you can't get compensated for that. However, if you use public toilets and the toilet paper roll is ripped off at an angle you certainly have a claim.

This thread is trolling at its finest.

Give the seller a reward for recycling intellectual waste into something useful.
