Those really droopy saddles like this one here:

What's the principle behind the droop? Is it to avoid the droop?

Maybe it's a ramp, so if you stop astride the bike and are a bit careless as you get back onto the saddle it doesn't poke you up the Khyber Pass, you just slide up the ramp with your aris.
