Only as good as the person inputting and interpreting the data.

I suggest you have a look at www.cadencesport.co.uk

I was going to recommend Adrian Timmis, just like NapD has.

I'm contemplating a re-visit to follow up from my fit just over a year ago and to get my winter bike sorted.
  • you could also try Speedhub, I've not used them, but they seem very professional.

Dan at MBF does know his stuff - I went there to write an article on fitting, and have been to Adrian and a Retul based place before this so have experience. Article is here if you are interested, but can recommend Dan.

Did you go to Midland Bike Fit?

Am thinking of going and just wondered if you went and your experience or whether you went elsewhere?

    Cheers.

Midland Bike fit = Cadenece Sport, simple, no brainer.

The custom footbeds (included in the price) are a revelation.

I'd happily recommend Adrian at Cadence Sports. I went with knee issues having had pysio for months - turns out my bike fit was all wrong. A week after the fit, I went for a ride and I had zero pain in my knees during and after the ride. Money very well spent

I'm going to Cadence this year - nice shop as well. I needed an emergency bike pump while passing through Barton as paranoia had set in 30 miles from home. It was weird seeing people sitting around drinking coffee at the bar with their bikes all lined up inside :)

  • I'm understating that people recommend Cadence Sport, but Midland Bike is ;

    A) closer and a hell of a lot easier to get to

    And

    B) 4 Score notes cheaper....

Has ANYONE any experience of Midland Bike Fit...cheers..

As I said earlier, I visited Dan at Midland Bike Fit last year to get both my bikes fitted and was impressed with the results - no more discomfort when riding and a definite increase in power especially when riding hills. This was my first bike fit so nothing to compare it to, but I'd recommend - as would a couple of my friends who also got fitted before Christmas 8)
  • Adrian Timmis!!!!

    Every time! super guy!

I've had a fair amount of fits with him over last two years,
mainly when I switch to new team bikes.
