Just finished the 4 day exhibition at Sema Show 2013 and was shocked at how many manufacturers are now putting in factory fittings for bike storage and handling.

    Skoda are bringing out bike options for every model range which I think is a good thing. Storage and handling which is purpose made for each model.
    Ford Dodge BMW VW Audi Mercedes and Porsche all doing the same.
    Some of the mechanisms are awesome in the way they work.

    Cool in theory but..... Won't fit your MTB, will get all scratched up unless you clean your tyres very carefully, will fill up with water leaving a lovely black silty mess at the bottom. Perhaps better a removable plastic fitting that attaches to the roof rail.
    Faster than a tent.......
