Campag 10speed chain joining pins

I understand that there are 2 different 10 speed joining pins? Is this correct and if so how do you identify the correct one for the job?

As Flasher says, just use a KMC campag compatible quick link.

One is the HD link (7 link) to be used when breaking the chain and rejoining and the other is a the joining pin to be used with a new chain. I use the KMC link though.
