Whinlatter open this Sunday

I've read that there is a Duathlon this Sunday (10th) at Whinlatter.
We are due to be going, but I don't know if the trails are open.

There is no info about closure of the trails anywhere.
However, the Duathlon races along the trails, so this indicates to me that its racers only.

Anyone shed any light on this?

I've just had a look on the Duathlon website and it says the course is the blue and South of the red. I guess the North would be rideable but I'd avoid the place whilst there was a race on in any case. Maybe go over after the race has finished (or go to Gisburn).
