Some do, like some parts and some forks, not all.
  • A good carbon frame that has been well made will be stronger than the equivalent aluminium frame. Weight shouldn't be an issue with carbon if well made

So aslong as I go for a reputable brand I should be fine? Been looking at Giant Trance X, Titus Carbon frame and a few others :-)

Thanks for your help guys :-)

Not sure I'd put those two in the same category - biggest manufacturer in the world and a niche brand sold in a warehouse in Yorkshire!

If there are weight limits they'll be printed, you'll be fine on the Trance, and I'm sure the Titus will be fine.
