I have been riding for nearly two years now, on a 2010 Raleigh airlite 100,
I have been saving up to treat myself to a new bike, I have about £1500-£1600
I saw the Boardman Road Pro Carbon SLR 2014 at just over £1600 with a 10% off deal.
it has the Ultegra 11 speed and wheels
or should I be looking a Specialized tarmac/Roubaix
I will only get one chance to treat my self.
cheers

Thats was my short list. I chose the Roubaix. No regrets. And you get to avoid Halfords which is a good thing.0

There are a lot mire bikes at that price point especially at this time of year with sales. If you are only going to treat yourself once then can you save a little more? You will want to upgrade wheels of mist £1500 bikes. Enjoy bike hunting!0
