new wheels

Hi,

I am looking for a upgrade from my mavic 717 wheels with xt hubs, budget is around £250. I do a mix of road (commuting) and singletrack riding on my cotic soul. Can anyone recommend anything suitible ?

    Superstar switch hubs, Stan's crest rims, around 1650g for the pair and ridiculously well priced. I've had one set of these from superstar and another set of crests on hope pro2's for the last 2 years and they've been faultless.

    How much do you weigh? Flows could be more suitable than crests depending on the answer. +1 for superstar wheelsets though. I have switch evos with mavic xm719 rims. Faultless.

    If he's using 717's he wont be wanting a heavy duty all mountain rim like Flows. Stans Crests are at least as tough as 717's
