I may have made up my mind to get a road bike, coming from a Trek 4400 MTB.
I've narrowed down my choices to the above. Purpose is weekend riding and sub 100km rides only at least until I get the hang of riding long distance.
What are the main differences in the bikes mentioned? I am thinking of getting 105 set. Thanks
I stand 5'6, 75kg just for added info.

The TCR is a performance race orientated bike, shorter wheel base, lower front end and quicker steering geometry, whereas the Defy is a performance endurance orientated bike, longer wheelbase, higher font end with more comfort suited to riding longer distances.
Test ride both to see which you prefer.0 -
Just looked at these now TCR geometry looks quite aggressive but then again it is a race bike. I'm also looking at the Planet X RT 58 and Ribbles R8720
