i have tried to use a copy of my mates european maps on my Garmin
but i get an error saying maps not loaded
is this because the maps are locked to a satnav unit??
is there a way to make the maps work on another Garmin.??
may be better to PM me ??

They are licensed for use on one unit that's why you can't open them.0

Do you need European maps or are you looking for UK?? I use the free Open Source Maps (OSM) on my own Garmin 800 and find them fine for what i need in the UK.0
