Flat/Platform Pedals w Replaceable Pins <>£35

I’m looking for reasonably decent, light and fairly wide flat/platform pedals with replaceable pins to put on my new RockRider 8.1.
Max budget £35, but would prefer less than £30.
Being a Noob I’m not comfortable just yet riding ‘cleats in’ and all that jazz with the Wellgo pedals and currently have some absolute basic £4.99 Decathlon pedals on there that I simply do not like at all – they’re horrible!
I am prepared for when I do want to try riding ‘cleats in’ and all that jazz, having bought the 2013 Suplest Supzero Offroad Shoes (absolutely superb!), but they’re versatile enough to wear as flat shoes for now and that’s where I currently feel comfortable.
Any suggestions/ recommendations….please?
I've looked at Evans Cycle simply because there is one a couple of hundred yards away and it's conveninet for delivery. The options there would appear to be:
Shimano OE Saint MX80

Nuke Proof Electron 2013

DMR V8 9/16 Inch

I'd stretch the budget by £2 and get these;

Yep that ^
Edit - Don't get V8's whatever you do. I thought they were great, until I tried the superstar nanosSaracen Tenet 3 - 2015 - Dead - Replaced with a Hack Frame

How robust are they? I tend to smash cheap pedals before the pins or bearings wear out.0 -
These look very similar to the Superstar nanos, for a few quid less:

Are you sure those soles are suitable for flats?0

Wellgo MG1.
Light magnesium goodness. And cheap.I don't do smileys.

I'd thoroughly recommend the Electrons. Light, robust and low profile. Just don't get white ones. I did because they were cheap at the time and they now look permanently filthy!0

Cheers all. Superstar nano and Wellgo MG1 look like good options.
Searching in 'Bikes & Gear' for reviews the only pedals matching my criteria are the Nukeproof Electron, but that review is from 2011:

I prefer the SS over the MG1, but tbh not a huge ammount in it, and i have yet to replace a pin, just not needed to although I have spares to hand.0

Mg1 for me.0

Does anyone ever look/ has anyone looked a little further afield when it comes to components etc, perhaps ebay and/ or Amazon and the products that you can get shipped from China for instance?
There's a lot out there. As an example only: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROCKBROS-Bike-Pedals-MTB-BMX-DH-Downhill-Pedals-9-16-Red-/111108431319?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item19de941dd7
RockBros - http://www.rockbrosbike.com ???
And: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mountain-Road-BMX-MTB-Bike-Cycling-Pedals-Flat-Platform-Alloy-9-16-Quick-Concise-/360771456618?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&var=&hash=item53ffa78e6a
I'm not necessarily going to opt for these, as I think the SS are ideal, but it's interesting to see just how much is out there!Tavish

I do, but I use Wellgo (which are made in China anyway - they also make pedals for DMR and a host of others) but prefer to order from local suppliers as I hate waiting decades for things to arrive.
But those pedals are just ugly.I don't do smileys.

Can't see the logic of the multi piece construction either - heavier and weaker than one piece.
The trouble with ordering from the far east sellers (besides the aforementioned wait) is that you're buying an unknown quantity that, if you get charged duty, works out no cheaper than a tried and tested option like the Superstars, which you know are good, and can have on your doorstep next day.0 -
One of the links is UK based.0

I only clicked on the first one, lol. They're still ugly though.
I like my Wellgo B54s (£27.99 from CRC, I got the last pair). I'd like another pair for my Kraken, but they seem to be discontinued.0 -

Yep, the second ebay link was for a UK supplier, but the pedals are exactly the same apart from the branding and from China aren't they? All manufactured in China and just branded differently?
Ha, just to point out that I also think they're ugly btw guys!
I'm going to order the SS nano this evening when I'm home.Tavish
